DESCRIPTION:When: 5:00PM – 7:00PM \nWhere: COR A317 (Cornett\, sociology building) \nOrganizer: Elaine Laberge (PhD sociology student\, student from generational poverty) \nJoin our weekly sharing meetings to meet peers and discuss issues that are important to YOU. \nYou are welcome to stay for all or just a part of a Shoestring Tuesday. Attend once a semester\, once a month\, or every week. There are no requirements or expectations. You are invited to simply bring your warm intentions\, your own experiences\, and your ideas. Of course\, beverages and snacks will be provided. \nAlthough this is a student event\, we will occasionally invite special professors\, advisors\, and other helpers who know what it’s like to struggle and study. \nShoestring Tuesdays are organized by Elaine Laberge (student from genertional poverty\, PhD student in sociology). \nCome be a part of our growing community.
