1st Shoestring Holiday Gathering

Time: 5pm – 7pm

Who: The event is open to UVic community members who identify as first-generation or from poverty/working class backgrounds.

For our holiday gathering, we are going for a ‘tropical’ theme to cast away those winter blues. So feel free to dress in whatever way brings in sunny days for you!

What: The Shoestring Initiative invites you to our first holiday gathering!

Come celebrate the holidays in whatever way feels right to you, and enjoy some good food and company to offset some of the stress of exam season!

We will provide warming, nourishing food (veggie and omnivore) and non-alcoholic beverages.

We will also have a raffle draw featuring wonderful prizes from some of our many generous sponsors.
